FlyingPenguins asks people to be honest about how they communicate, where they struggle, and what a hard conversation actually feels like to have. That only works if they trust the platform holding it. So here is exactly how we protect your data, your privacy, and how we use AI.
Your personality and skills data exists for one purpose: to help you grow. By
contract, your organisation agrees not to treat it as the basis for employment
decisions. It is a development tool, not a performance review, and we never sell
it.
Your data is encrypted in transit with TLS 1.2+, older protocols refused and
Strict Transport Security enabled. Access is checked per resource, so you only
ever reach your own records and those of the groups you belong to, with single
sign-on through your organisation's identity provider and multi-factor
authentication available to everyone. Continuous monitoring and centralised
logging run across the platform. Our Data Processing Agreement is built on the
GDPR, UK GDPR and Swiss FADP. We delete or return your data when you leave.
Our simulations run on OpenAI, under a data processing agreement. Your data
is not used to train either provider's models. We do improve our own scoring, but
from anonymised and aggregated data — never from identifiable results, and never in a way that feeds back into a decision about a person. The AI plays a defined character in a defined scenario, never an open-ended chatbot, and it supports our certified coaches and facilitators, who are held to the ICF Code of Ethics. It never makes decisions about you. It gives you insight, and you choose what to do with it.
